recognitions

when you moved to a new place, what make you a native? what make people call you a residence and not passanger?
once some one told me, "till you didn't go to a bank and do some thing like opening an account or like that, you won't count as a native there". or shopping, or trying to go some where alone without loosing or things like that.
but I guess there is some thing else.some thing more important. being known or in fact recognized in the street or shop or some where else by others. when a seller recognize you from before and tell you, "hey. good morning!"
then you might feel a bit belongs to a place!
